Going away is the easy part. Working out who looks after your dog is the bit that keeps you up at night.
We have been boarding and training dogs at Leppington for more than 38 years. Your dog is not dropped in a run and forgotten.
They are handled every day by the same trainers who run our obedience programs, so they come home settled and exercised instead of wound up.
No chandeliers and no day spa. Just experienced handlers, clean runs, plenty of play, and people who know exactly what to do with a dog that is anxious, elderly, or does not get on with others.
Every dog here is looked after by qualified trainers. If your dog pulls, barks, panics at drop off or does not like other dogs, that is a normal day for us. It is the reason a lot of owners end up here after trying somewhere else first.
Dogs are grouped by size and temperament, not just put in together because they turned up the same day. Anything that needs its own space is boarded separately in a secure area, so your dog is only ever playing with dogs that suit them, watched by handlers who read dogs for a living.
Boarding starts at $44 a day for a small dog. Grooming, a swim, day care or a training program can be added if you want them, and nothing goes on your bill that you did not ask for.
Bring their own food and we will feed it exactly the way you do. Medication is given to your instructions at no extra cost. Dogs from the same family can share, and you are welcome to visit while they are here.
Per dog, per calendar day. Every price includes GST.
Dogs that need their own space. Guard trained, or dogs that cannot be boarded alongside others, $93.50 a day. Pets that need to be kept away from other animals entirely, $88 a day. Ring us and we will sort out which one suits.
A 20% holiday surcharge applies between 13 December and 31 January. Not sure which bracket your dog is in? Call 02 9606 2004 and we will tell you in a minute.
All optional. Add any of them when you book your dog in.
Christmas is our busiest stretch of the year and the kennels fill well before December. If you already know your dates, get in touch now and we will put your dog in the book.

Breakfast is whatever you packed, fed the way you feed it at home. Then they are out of the run for a proper stretch and a play with dogs their own size and temperament.
There is a swim with a trainer if they like water, a groom if they are due one, and a nap in a clean run once they have worn themselves out.
Somebody who reads dogs for a living has eyes on them the whole time. By the time you collect them they have been walked, played with and properly tired out, and they will sleep the whole way home.
Runs are cleaned twice a day. The property is fully licensed, securely fenced and covered by video monitoring, including the outdoor areas where the dogs play.
Every dog needs a current C5 vaccination before they come in. Bring the certificate signed by your vet when you drop them off and we will take it from there.
Before your dog comes in
Every dog needs a current C5 vaccination, which covers parvovirus, distemper, hepatitis and kennel cough. Bring the certificate signed by your vet when you drop them off.
Bring their food if they are on something specific, and write down any medication and when it is due. We will follow it exactly.
If your dog is already staying with us, it is the easiest time to get on top of the things that drive you mad. Pulling on the lead, not coming when called, jumping all over visitors.
Our trainers can run a program while they board, so you pick up a dog that has had a holiday and learnt something. Tell us what your dog is like when you book and we will tell you honestly whether it is worth doing.
You are welcome to come and see where your dog would be staying before you book anything. Most people do, and it is the quickest way to know whether we are the right fit.
Give us a ring and we will show you around.
